CRAVEN SIDE CHAIR

The Craven chair combines both beauty and function with the exposed wood at the top of the chair back. An open area between the curved, exposed wood top rail and the upholstered back give an airy lightness and beauty to the chair. The space also creates a functional element of being able to move the chair by using the exposed wood parts instead of by touching the upholstered fabric of the back. The tightly upholstered inside back features double needle stitching at the outer edges. The tightly upholstered seat is framed by exposed wood seat rails. The lightly scaled, tapered exposed wood legs are supported on the side and across the back by stretchers.
